Abstract

 

 Abstract

This research entitled Buddha’s Instruction Model in Learning Buddhism Subject in Secondary Schools, Satorn; Bangkok. There were the three objectives 1) to study it, 2) to compare it and 3) to suggest the instructing methods of it. It was the quantitative research. The sample has the 270 persons. Its tools were the questionnaires, the data analysis, the means, the percentage and the standard deviation, the one-way analysis of variance: F-test and the difference test by Scheffe’s way

Findings were as follows:

On it, there were 1) the curriculum and the learning was at the highest level, but the instruction and the measure and the valuation were at the high level.

The comparison of it was found that the students had the opinion it, so it was not significant difference at 0.05.

The suggestions were found that the teachers should often train the students to read the Pali and the Buddha proverb to make them absorb dhamma that consists of the knowledge and the best model in living daily. Mostly, the teachers should have the experience in Dhamma practice by themselves. They should intend and be interested in the problems of the students for helping to improve the learning achievement and instruct them by the learning method on the problem based learning model. The teachers should finally get an assessment of their competency by observing their behavior relating to the context of the students.
